I disagree. I think Harbough is as guilty as sin but the Big Ten suspending him before the NCAA investigation is concluded, or ruled upon, is setting a very dangerous precedent. They didn't suspend Tressel when he was under investigation for impermissible player benefits. They didn't suspend Myer while he was under investigation. They didn't suspend Fitzgerald while he was being investigated. They didn't suspend Tucker earlier this season. They waited for all those investigations to run their course before they commented or made any ruling. This is totally unprecedented. I can't wait to see what happens when another Big Ten school comes under investigation. We need to be careful what we wish for in potentially joining a conference like the Big Ten.

I agree with the TITLE…did not bother to watch the video. Took a lot to say I agree with PF; to actually watch and hear him speak was more than I could stomach. So lazy on my part. Great points you made, and I agree wholeheartedly.
If Harbaugh is not guilty of cheating directly or knowing about it, then he is guilty of incompetence and lack of institutional control. Certainly, he is not a victim, even if he has been treated unfairly. And he has a lot of nerve to cry foul when he is ultimately responsible for everything that happens in his program on his watch.

Do you forget he was suspended at the beginning of the year too? The man runs a cheating organization and this is why he was suspended again.

Cheating internally is quite different to me than cheating externally.
and the issue is that the benefit from the cheating is ongoing.
It's every team and every game they play this season that they illegally scouted.

If it were Saban or Kirby Finebaum would be defending them until the end. Dude loves to gobble the gizzards of the SEC coaches

The universities are the oversight committee for the NCAA.
The NCAA is notorious for letting the guilty go unpunished. I suspect they are like crooked judges. Grease the palm and walk.
Imo, the suspension is a light penalty which was declared in order to say, after the investigation, that UM and JH have suffered enough already. I suspect another slap on the wrist to be deemed sufficient to satisfy the NCAA.
The NCAA's bite is that of a toothless old woman. There are things they are good at but biting isn't one of them.

The University may have grounds to fire the Coach and no payout. Will be interesting to see as this debacle plays out over time.

What if they gave Beamer info that helped them beat Tenn. and us. Would you have an interest then?

When we knowingly already have fired, or he resigned, the guy that bought, not allegedly bought, tickets and videoed the opposition’s side line then dude get off the sidelines now and we will get back to you after we finish finding out what other shenanigans you have pulled. Not being on the sidelines is a slap on the wrist imo. Make an example of a few folks and some of this BS may slow down a little bit. Used to like the guy but there seems to be too much smoke hanging around him.

Personally, I'd never admit to agreeing with Finebum even if I agreed with Finebum...
