I have Fitbit...it helped me lose 25 lbs.

In last year's "Maintain, don't gain" health awareness challenge, I blew their stats by gaining 6 lbs over the holidays. So, they gave me (paid for by my company) a fitbit Zip. I've worn it everyday since then.

The food entry was a little bit of a pain, but everything I ate was in the look-up tables. It got really easy when I started eating some of the same things for breakfast and lunch.

I just bought a "Fitbit Force" for my wife and son.

an iOS only thing, to that is out. I don't think my phone is on the fitbit list, but my tablet is and the laptop will work of course.

I've had both the jawbone up and forgot force and I'd only recommend the force.

I had two jawbones die on me and my force has been great so far (albeit only a month).
