Future of Tiger Baseball

Jun 1, 2014, 1:33 PM

Where do we go from here?

What decisions need to be made during this offseason?    [Results]

Fire Jack Leggett - He just isn't the coach he used to be. The game has passed him by. Clemson needs a fresh start.
Keep Jack Leggett and Staff - Jack has taken us to 6 CWS and he hasn't suddenly forgot how to coach. It's been a tough few years but these things happen in baseball. Jack will get us back to prominence.
Jack Stays but makes Changes to the Staff - A large part of Jack's successes at Clemson were tied to his ability to pick strong assistant coaches. Right now we don't have very good assistants. Leggett needs to go find the next Tim Corbin and Kevin O'Sullivan to help Clemson get back on track.

this pole needs to be taken by baseball fans who know baseball and have bought baseball tickets and go to see the games over the last few years.

But honestly, there are so many idiots that go to the games as well, and are only there for the family fun. The only way to know who knows baseball is to put up a survey with situational baseball and ask what you should do in those situations. Or if they support Jack, then you already know they are an idiot. And the game has not passed Jack. Baseball does not change. It's not like football and basketball. It's been the same game forever. Ok maybe some people would say there is more small ball today, but realistically Jack never was good. Anybody else would've won that 2002 national championship. ANYBODY Jack is a prime example of inheriting greatness and thriving off of it. Our program was so stong it wasn't going to just go away fast. It was a steady, steady, decline until eventually running into the ground

Interesting

So far it seems that a little more than 5% are "unhappy" with the status quo. Slightly off from Jack's analysis.

Care to weigh in?

Make the proper investment into the baseball program.

The lazy simpletons can only lash out at coaches. The problem is deeper.
