My guess is at best 5th.
That is if they go 4-1 over last 5.
The loss to NC State hurts Clemson more for two reasons now...
Will even harder to catch UVA who owns tiebreaker
Probably means Wake will have fewer losses than Clemson bc they need to lose 3 times
It will be hard to win 5 in a row.
That has to happen to probably get to 4th.
But to go 4-1...
Lose to ND = bad loss
Lose to Wake = Lose tiebreaker over Wake
Lose to Pitt = split series, tiebreaker gets weirder
So Clemson could fall to 6th
Probably same for FSU and Syracuse, but need each to lose more 1 game over their last 5 and 4 respectively
Crazy stat mentioned atstart of GT game. I think it was Clemson has lost 5 ACC games by total of 8 points. Flip just two of those games and Clemson is fighting for 3rd place.

Is that flip the 4 closest losses (the 1 point losses + 1st GT game), this team is up there w/ UNC & Duke in race for the ACC regular season crown. Really could've been a special season in that regard but they just seem to not show up or not finish at inopportune times. For me, there's gonna be a feeling of "yeah, but they could've done more" whenever this season is done

As of today, TeamRankings has us projected to finish 5th behind WF. However, they breakdown the odds of our seeding with an inclusion of our odds of winning the ACC tournament given our seed as follows:
3rd Seed (6.9%) - Win the ACCT as 3rd Seed (14.6%)
4th Seed (25.8%) - Win the ACCT as 4th Seed (13.3%)
5th Seed (29.1%) - Win the ACCT as 5th Seed (8.9%)
6th Seed (16.6%) - Win the ACCT as 6th Seed (8.0%)
7th Seed (9.9%) - Win the ACCT as 7th Seed (6.8%)
8th Seed (5.9%) - Win the ACCT as 8th Seed (6.1%)
9th Seed (3.4%) - Win the ACCT as 9th Seed (5.7%)
10th Seed (1.9%) - Win the ACCT as 10th Seed (5.0%)
11th Seed (0.5%) - Win the ACCT as 11th Seed (4.0%)
12th Seed (0.1%) - Win the ACCT as 12th Seed (0%)
While they project us as a 5th seed, there is not that much difference in the odds between 4th, 5th, or 6th seeds. Let's get that 4th seed in the tournament, as there is a 4% difference in the odds for us winning the ACC tournament if we get that double bye. While 4% may not seem much, I'll take any shift in the odds being in our favor.

about going from ~9% to ~14.5%. That's actually a 50% higher chance of winning the tournament.

No possible way to know. Some nights the shots go in and some nights they don't and that is the nature of basketball. After Carolina, Duke and UVA, the ACC is a mess with 7 having either 7, 8 or 9 wins. We could be any where from 4th to 10th and so could any of the other teams.

We have an excellent shot at 4th.
I do believe it will come down to the last game.
I'm not assuming losses to anyone...nor victories...
We've seen this team (and other ACC teams) win (and lose) unexpected
games all season...no reason to think that stops now.

Yes.
I think I mixed up UVA schedule and Wake's. UVA only has 4 games left.
We certainly can finish 4th.
I did not look at any 3 or more tiebreaker scenarios.
I would prefer for Clemson to keep playing. They don't do so well with long layoffs.

We finish 4th.
NC state will lose to @UNC. Home vs Duke. Maybe even @FSU or @Pitt
Wake Forest could lose Home to Duke, @ Vtech and Home to us. I could see us playin them for the 4 seed.
I don’t think we lose again regular season
