I filed mine on March 28. And paid a fortune in income tax.

I gave all my 1099 annd write-offs info to my accountant on 03/29…. Still holding my breath that it’s less than I planned for it to be.

Will pay the remainder of 2023 next Friday and also pay my first Quarterly payment for '24.
Plus I need to put $$ in my Roth as well.
Ill be just about broke on April 15th. LOL

the guvmint have my money instead of it making money for me, anymore than the next guy. But, even moreso, I think it is morally wrong to have to pay MORE taxes at the end of the year if you have already been paying all year long. So, I try to make sure that doesn't happen. Getting a small refund on federal and state just warms what cockles my heart has left.

Paid mine in Early January. Did a little damage I have been to other countries and ok with paying taxes dont like but it is what is

Picked everything up from the CPA on Tuesday. Paying what seems like a lot to the Feds, getting a fraction of that back from the state.

Not yet !! Spent more than 5 hours just today including four calls to HR Block about a problem their software caused. Had to end up deleting the data for my daughter's and my file in an effort to help ensure the last of two software downloads they sent would work. Tomorrow will have to take at least 2+ hours to input the data again. That plus the previous days work on it made a sizeable dent in my remaining life span.
