Leading by 20 going into the fourth quarter over a team you have shut out for half the game should equal garbage time. I don't know if we were playing younger guys, if our starters were on the field and gassed, or if FSU found some gaps, but ...

They won the first quarter (+ 5 seconds) and fourth quarter 28-7.

We can't do that against great teams and win, no matter if we do win the "middle eight." Fortunately, we have only faced good teams and not great ones so far.

"Garbage Time" is how you build depth. Putting teams away and getting 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers game time experience is what Dabo has excelled at in the past. Not only do you build the next man up mentality, you entice recruits that see they can play their freshman year.

IMHO garbage time should be when you are up by 4 or more score. 3 quick TDs can happen in a few minutes or less... just sayin'
