Favorite Player this year: GRADY JARRETT

Mar 31, 2013, 6:14 PM

I'm gonna go ahead and start the bandwagon for this guy. Actually, about a month ago I posted about him before Venables came out and said he has been the most consistent all spring.

It's obvious he's undersized but watch folks, it AINT gona matter. Got the heart of a lil bull out there and some Ray Lewis blood. His size actually is going to help him "slip through" into the backfield alot. Thumbs up if you wanna see this guy start all season!

At DT..

We will have about 5 really d a mn good guys to rotate in and out.

Other than Watson, DJ Reader impresses

Mar 31, 2013, 6:27 PM

as well. Carlos Watkins hasn't shown me much.

Watkins is the norm for a freshmen to me

very few can come in and have a significat impact no matter the position. Reader was further along then Watkins but Watkins probably has more overall talent. It'll be up to him to contineu to improve and show it. I like what I've seen in these practice videos from him.

We have a solid 5. I like Reader, Watson, and Jarrett to get the majority of the snaps. Then Williams and Watkins to get a good amount of PT in order to stay fresh on the line.

Very strong 5. We absolutely hit on all of those prospects. Even with Jarrett. Nobody thought he was going to be a freaking beast in the middle. He was a lower rated recruit that has come out of nowhere. He was a state champion wrestler. Love DT prospects who wrestle. They know how to make that first contact and move immovable objects (if that makes sense)

They understand leverage very well because of wrestling***

For me it's between HotRod and Vic B.

I have high expectations for those two.

He's becoming unblockable on this practice videos

He was also unstoppable against LSU. If not for Goodman then Jarett would have had most of those sacks. he was literally a half second behind Goodman for most of those sacks. If he was a few inches taller and a few tenths of a second faster he'd have had twice as many offers coming out of HS
