Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. Time to get a basketball coach that doesn’t choke when the games on the line most often than not.

Yeah kind of apples and oranges when looking at the ACC then and now. Much easier road these days...if you have a decent team.

They won the ACC just last year! What has basketball done for us lately?

Couldn't disagree more. We have a great baseball history at Clemson, and it looks like the future is bright with Coach Bakich at the helm.

Bill Foster's teams were always exciting even when they lost. There was another level of talent in the ACC back then. Littlejohn was the place to be.

This is the point that many Clemson fans just can’t come to accept. We all want a winning basketball team year in and year out. I too think it may be time to look elsewhere but to think that Clemson is going to draw great interest from up and coming great coaches, or coaches that are in their prime right now is just nonsense. In order for Clemson to make a big basketball turnaround we are going to have to get lucky and hire a mid tier up and coming coach that is a diamond in the rough buried where no one else can see. It’s not impossible but we are going to have to get very lucky.

Purnell was my fave and had best numbers. He was also exciting. I still remember smacking the crap out of duke by nearly 30 in little John.
Am ready to make a gamble on exciting again.
