With the comment of the night on the future of LSU. "I dont know who (LSU) their back up quarterback is."

Ed Orgeron is about to go from the penthouse to the outhouse for selling his soul to breaking records. He’ll reap his shortsightedness 11 months from now.

Yeah, congrats to LSU. But they're a one hit wonder. They'll be very lucky to be an 8-4 team next year. They remind me of Auburn when Can was there. Chizick won a Natty but was gone in a few years
Go Tigers! Clemson

K.J. Costello is a name you hear. I haven't watched much Stanford to know how good he is.

The backup QB on a record setting team had 40 passes all year and 70 total in 3 years. On top of that, a major network TV analyst couldn’t even call his name. Prove me wrong. Who’s going to throw the ball?

Myles Brennan. Look him up. Not saying he’s going to have the same success as Burrow, but he’s solid.

I did look him up. I had to because no one knows who he is. He threw 40 passes on a record setting team this year. Either the OCs don’t have confidence in him or they were so focused on proving the offense no longer resembles pre-modern era football. Enjoy 2-3rd place in the west next year.

I'm not being a sore loser. I said, congrats to LSU. I'm just being realistic. LSU wil be lucky to be an 8-4 team next year. That's just being honest. It's very RARE in today's game where you get a 5th year senior playing QB or any position. Burrow was the engine. But they have to replace that engine.

Yeah, I don’t see why any Clemson fan gives a #### about what LSU is gonna do next year. It’s a given they will fall way off, now that Brady is gone. But who cares. Clemson is gonna be in the playoffs with a chance at the natty again.

national championship, and the majority of posters here tipped their hats when it ended. Yet you’re still on an opponent’s message board trying to manage the next day reactions. I think you might be missing a bit of self-awareness.

Agree. SEC teams will remember how LSU left JB in the games well after it was decided to pad stats and rub in the win. LSU had a great season but it was lightening in a bottle. Clemson on the other hand will be back in the CFP next year, and hopefully with vengeance on their hearts. I feel sorry for our opponents next year.

The LSU fans out in NOLA make it tough to offer congratulations. I always thought that Florida State and UGA had the worst fan bases. Now, I'm not sure. Before the game, you'd pass a group of LSU-clad fans, and hear several "F Clemson" and "Clemson go home- we don't F'ing want you here." Drunk and disorderly pretty much describes my experience there. I encountered exactly one LSU fan after the game (about my age- 70) who offered his hand and said, "ya'll have built one #### of a program." I shook his hand and congratulated him on a great year and a great ballgame. We thanked each other, and I and my daughter walked on down Poydras street into more "F-bombs." I will not go back to NOLA... even if we're in the Sugar Bowl next year. The only thing that rivaled my poor experience with the LSU fans was the experience of getting into the MB Super Dome. Worse than the ACCCG at BofA Stadium in Charlotte!

Burrow only had 16 TD's last year. I think they take a step back but the rest of their team is solid, so they could very well be in the hunt.

This has more to do with them changing offensive schemes. LSU finally crawled out of the stone age and went to a spread RPO concept. Alabama did this a few years ago as well.

Whatever you think is speculation! Who cares about LSUs future other than LSU! They had a fairytale season and deserve to savor it just like we have! Talk about how positive the Clemson tigers future is and quit acting like a jealous baby! The future is bright for us! Give credit to LSU and move on with class!

I imagine there will be quarterbacks lining up in the transfer portal to play at LSU.
