If like to see Big Mac. I always liked having a DB run back kicks.

Don't need to take the chance they get injured

Both are huge for our team. I'm fine with Humphries and maybe giving one of the RBs a chance to return punts.

CJ Spiller, Jacoby Ford, Justin Miller, Marcus Gulchrist, Andre Ellington all returned kicks and were very valuable players. Kick returns can play a huge role ina game and I'd hope the coaches put our best playmakers back there.

You need to have one of your fastest athletes running back punts & kickoffs...Just look what CJ and Sammy did for us in that department...and you can't teach speed...Go Tigers!!!!

Why are there never 2 guys back to field the punt ( like kickoffs )? One guy can catch it while the second guy tells him to let it go, fair catch it, or run it back. And...if the decision is to run it back, the second guy blocks the gunner that we never seem to block with the wideouts. Why don't we do something different? CU is content to neglect being aggressive in this aspect of the game for some reason while other teams seem to figure out how to do it well!

You're dead on CB1, especially since we don't block or hold

up the punt team at the line of scrimmage.

I say go all out on the punt since we yield no return anyway.

especially since they never go for the block anyway

well with a kicker on one side and the returner on the other

Nov 9, 2014, 8:55 PM [ in reply to Re: MacKensie Alexander or Artavis Scott.... ]

you have 1 on 1 blocks everywhere, you're supposed to follow your man down field trying to adjust his running route so he doesn't have a free run on the returner as well as attempting to create a crease for the returner. Unfortunately we don't do either of these very well, and sometimes not at all.
