He was previously the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach under Brian Kelly.
He was name head coach after Kelly departed for LSU.
I never really heard of him until ne became Notre Dame's head coach. I do know he was the first head coach in Notre Dame history to start his career at 0-3. While they're playing better, hopefully we can add to that loss total Saturday night.

I haven't checked it a bit, but believe it's a guy name Dan Devine. He has a heck of a DE named Rudy Ruetigger. He goes to show stars mean nothing.
