What ever happened to Tashard Choice? I'm hoping we have someone to pick up the slack for Ellington this year. Who do yall see as the 2 deep?

We have several. Stay tuned. RB should be a strength, too, along with the OL.

Sorry guys, not Tashard Choice, Adam Choice. No wonder they're giving me a hard time.
Is JJ McCullough going to get some carries? He's a big guy and I think he would be great in short yardage.

DJ Reader is number eligible to take snaps in the back field. He is a Defensive Tackle and has decent speed for a man weighing almost 300lbs.

That's pretty hurtful. I think we football fans should stick together.

On a serious note, Jamie Harper and James Davis should be fully rehabbed by summer and ready to go by fall. Rod McDowell would be my pick as the starter, but I can see Gailmann, Die and Davison getting reps. Should be a nice group

Ha, I see what you guys are doing. You know what I meant. We haven't had a workhorse back since Ellington left. Was hoping that we could find one this year.

Did you see how Wayne Gallman came on at the end of the season. Dye is back. Zac Brooks is back. The word on CJ Fuller is good. And we have Tavian Feaster coming in next season. We may end up having one of the deepest backfields in Clemson history over the next few years.

Thanks for the unnecessary personal attack, cupton. Seeing as how it's the 2nd one in only my short time here, I can only assume that you get very angry at questions. Duly noted.

Instead of running backs we will now be using 'walking backs' since our new offensive line will be so #ss kicking dominant.

Actually the question is fair, but your subject line seemed to some to be a little provocative. The answer is yes we do, the other question is which one. Gallman appears to have arrived, shedding the Wing T mentality and becoming more patient in letting the blocking develop. He's also stronger, wiser and has worked his butt off in the off season. He seems to be the #1 pick for work horse at this stage.
But here's where it gets complicated. Zac Brooks was going to be "the guy" last year but got sidelined by injury. He showed flashes the year before in running between the tackles and is great catching the ball out of the backfield. He's bigger, stronger and hungry.
Then you have Tyshon Dye who was the first player Morris offered when he got hear. He's strong, low to the ground and is a bowling ball runner with good cuts. He too was sidelined by injury most of last year so he only got a little exposure. He too is bigger and stonger.
Then you have C.J. Davidson. He's lightening fast with experience and is very, very slippery. He had a problem hanging on the ball but is a brilliant open field runner.
Then you have C.J. Fuller coming off a redshirt who is an absolute brute. He's low to the ground, extremely strong and thinks knocking people over is the fun part. He's fast, has great cuts and is powerful. I mean really powerful. He's 5'9 and 220 lbs, a very hard guy to bring down.
Then you have Adam Choice who was one of the go too guys last year until HE got sidelined with injury as well. He's a great ball handler has great vision, good cuts and a very low center of gravity. He's coming off an ACL injury so who know where he ranks in the line up.
Then you have a blazer in Ray-Ray McCloud coming in the summer. He's a Rival's 5 star and #2 Ath in the country. He's short but has amazing speed and quickness. He rushed for 2300+ yds as a junior and 1900+ as a senior at a 5a high school. He averaged 7+ yds a carry in all 4 years. He's a runner, receiver and returner. You can look for him to get some reps as well.
So the answer to your question is an unqualified YES. A lot of them.
