All is right in the world with 7 back in the dugout at Doug Kingsmore. It’s for the better to have him back around.

Bakich is going to end up regretting the decision to have this skeleton to pop out of the closet. I understand that there aren’t any players who will overlap his time here, but if Jack is available to consult, then I think it would be best if it was not in the dugout…the old “too many cooks in the kitchen”.

Yeah that’s not how it sounded earlier

I thought he was in an advisor role, not on the bench

Yes, it is most definitely an advisor role. I am sure you can be in the dugout on gamedays with that job.

I believe Jack and Coach Bakich both discussed this role and opportunity and Jack knows his place. It's just good to have him back at a place that he built. He put $20,000 of his own money into the new players facility in 2012 or whatever and didn't get to step foot into it until 2022. I am going to have to agree to disagree with you but having Jack back is good for the program and you have to be very naive to think he's gonna try to take control or something. It is almost comical to think that way.

I’m sure if he would have gracefully stepped down

Feb 17, 2023, 3:27 PM

He would have been treated a lot differently. But I know you won’t want to hear that.

If you listen to his side of the story. He was asked to negotiate a contract for his return and was then fired a day later, but I am sure you won't want to hear that.
