Sick or not. He leaves before he totally lost his ability to coach at the highest levels. I wish him the best if he has to struggle with a serious illness.

The story behind health and age:

Age-yes, he is getting old and wants to enjoy retirement in his new mansion in Florida.

Health-yes, he is sick of how the spoiled players are acting and their demands for money. He also is amazed at how little respect they have for the institution of the school itself.

I'm younger than him so I get where he is coming from on the age thing and I 100% agree with the health part, I'm sick of the spoiled athlete that NIL has created. X caught a lot of flack for going through 3 or 4 cars during his time at Clemson but he doesn't even compare to the new breed of spoiled rotten prima donna's.
