On the football board.

Do you guys think that the offensive line is really back to the same place it was at during the 2016 and 2018 seasons?

I honestly believe that this was the beginning of the frustrations for DJ. And if the line is back to it's former state, do you believe DJ will be able to bounce back?

I'm new here so I'm trying to figure out why a post on the Clemson football board about clemson football is unacceptable?

I have no reason to doubt we are going to be much improved across all aspects of the offense.

The lack of continuity at the OL, WR, RB, and TE positions did nothing to help a QB going through a sophomore slump w/ a banged up knee and broken finger on throwing hand.

Yep. That definitely ruined his off season and probably initiated the weight gain. Kid has a really rough year. Then you have a flood of dumba$$ people who get their rocks off bashing him on the internet every chance they get.

It's really embarrassing how grow adults talk about these 18 - 22 year olds. That is across the board of CFB...not just us.

I think it is way to early to tell what the offensive line will be like.
And I don't think that was the beginning of the frustrations for DJ. There were too many other issues to blame only one part of the offense.
As far as bouncing back, only DJ can answer that. I have read where he has lost some weight, and was working on his footwork. And while I am no quarterback coach, I think another area he needs to work on is his progressions.
Three things are for certain this year; he knows he needs to improve because he has some competition and also we have a new OC, who has to be able to make the decision to pull him if he continues to preform like he did last season.

His footwork has certainly improved from everything I've read too. His release looked slower last season and the ball didn't jump off his hand quite as fast to me. Hopefully Streeter can help coach that up a little more.
