Dabo just hired his friends

It is hard for me to take someone’s post seriously that contains those words. Dabo hired people he knew and was comfortable with their approach to the game. He played with Conn and Hall. He coached Grisham and Spiller. He and Venables were grooming Goodwin to take over at some point. People on this board act like he went out and hired some commercial real estate salesman to coach wide receivers because he had history with them. Although that might work out.

The other comment that cracks me up is “ He should have gone out and hired the best person for the job”. He did. He hired who he thought was the best person for the job, not who someone on a message board thought was the best person for the job. If you go back to when Tony for the job at Virginia and looked at who Tigernet thought Dabo ought to bring in, those same people are doing poorly where they are for one reason or another.
