Which one of these fine gentlemen would you recruit from the portal? A more important question is, "who would you kick off of the current roster to make room for the recruit that you choose?" Link to portal provided below.

I don't think so but facts are there's usually only a handful of impact players in the portal every year. At one point there was what 3000 players in the portal. Clemson has to be a draw for these kids and I think alot of TNET recruiting gurus forget that. What is going to excite a HS recruit is not going to excite a kid looking for his second shot at the NFL, especially if he's not guaranteed to be starter. Of all the portal kids excelling rn I think the only one that would have helped Clemson was Keon Colemon.

this is not how this works anyway
you find the player you want who isn’t in the portal and write them a check to transfer
at least…that’s what everyone else is doing

Unless Clemson starts to cheat like the rest, the pickings from the portal will be slim. I am not saying it is impossible but, will be challenging.

It's hard to replace our players who enter the portal after the season with top-tier recruits. Why not replace them with portal players from elsewhere before taking low-end recruits who are years away from helping if they ever do? The current status quo is obviously not working.

I have two questions. I am not trying to be a smart a$@ but am serious. How many of the portal impact players for this current season were legally obtained? Second question. Do you want Clemson to start cheating like the other schools to get the good players from the portal.
I am more worried about Dabo replacing some coaches before I am with portal players.

I'm not a portal pumper, but this is a stupid post. Anyone worth recruiting from the portal has already transferred, meaning the remainder is the leftovers that could not find a new school. The window for players to enter has been closed for a long time now and will not reopen until December.
That's when the shopping will begin, and you can try this post again.

Hilarious all the folks with their research on the portal. I know they are just trying to defend Coach’s stance. But it’s gonna be entertaining watching them completely reverse on the portal when Dabo starts using it. Just a matter of time really.
