He did have a front row seat to the turnaround led by Bob Stoops at the very same program in 1999 and 2000. They went 7-5 before a 13-0 national championship.
They beat a good Texas team that took down Bama. There is a chance.

of all the other college teams, I say go coach BV & Sooners
His success, so soon after a rough first year, is good to see. A lot of people doubted him after last season but now they are all eating crow or should be if they haven't. I am not sure they are championship material, but they are undefeated and that is the best you can do

Coach V not only is a great Coach, he is very humble. The players love him put it on the line for him this is what makes him an awesome leader.
We lost our heart when he left .

Our offense had already taken a turn for the worse 1 year before Coach Venables left. We're on our third year of below average offensive production after 7 years of a high powered offense. One of those three years was way below average.

He has a favorable schedule ahead. If he can win the Big 12 championship and make it the CFP he will have a shot. UGA, Ohio State, Florida State, Michigan, etc are all beatable this year.
Either way, he has had a remarkable season in year #2.
