Coots reach out to Devin Leary (NC State QB)

Beamer seems to be capable, but is he good enough to really get Carolina back to being consistently relevant? They basically lost their whole offense. Losing their OC, QB Rattler, Starting RB, both TEs and likely more. It’s obvious Clemson lost because of Clemson holding themselves back in every way.

Sorry to say but Dabo gave them that game . Never will understand the coaching that day. The Dabo that took over this program would have never allowed that to happen. Something changed along the way.

Capable is the perfect word to describe Beamer, much like they say of anyone that retired from a position. He/she/it was a capable manager/salesperson/stumpgrinder.
But its probably more likely he will keep them inconsistently irrelevant.

Nothing official but they must be concerned. If he has a good game against ND then I would say he is probably gone. He and my daughter went to HS together so I got to see and hear about him quite a bit. He is very much a ME guy and so if he thinks the next level is calling then I believe he will definitely move on.

I want to clarify that I don’t know for sure about Rattler, just assuming that he will leave. Reasons are because we saw 3 of their best players on offense and overall transfer out, and maybe his draft stock is the highest it will be. Remember, he still kind of sucked for most of the year until Tennessee. Even if he wanted to improve next year, he could mess it up. And they’re reaching out to Leary.

I mean to be fair, he was pretty on point in the last 2 games. Accuracy wise. Extended plays. Only made the one really bad decision on the endzone pick. Still won both games and put up numbers. He's be kinda dumb not to declare.
In fact, he might want to think about skipping the bowl, since he wont have any weapons and it might hurt his draft stock a bit. Idk. Just my .02

I feel they must know Rattler is leaving if Lloyd and Bell are headed out. Unless there is something else going on. It’s not like neither was getting PT.

I could give two chits. Nobody that watched that game with an ounce of humility thinks Cola won without complete Clemson-implosion, even with the unprecedented talent they just loss.

Rattler won't leave. He is deemed as their messiah. Next season and their schedule, they will realize he is not.

From what I’m hearing he will make his decision after their bowl game and all depends on if he likes their new OC coming from Arkansas. As we should be doing they’re just recruiting the portal to cover all bases if he leaves them… ??♂️
