College football: The last 5 years have shown us 1)Coaching and 2)Recruiting are the keys

You have to have both. College football has changed so much in the last five years. I have great fears for the future of college football, and what it means for the game as a whole.
It very well may be that we have to go to different levels of college football. Classifications. It is very important that every school feels they have a chance to win a championship AND it is also CRITICAL that and Alumni feel they have a chance. If that hope is taken away, the game as we know it is over. We are getting dangerously close to being on the cusp of that.
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to a great 2023 season!

The vast majority of teams aren't capable of winning a national championship at the FBS level. That hasn't prevented more and more teams jumping to the FBS level.

Any enhancements to the quality of the programs are just secondary benefits.

Yeah man the sport of college football just couldn’t stay how it was. It’s not the capitalistic, American way. But I will say this, NIL, transfer portal, what have you, if you don’t have a good coach who runs a good system with the right people, you still won’t do a thing. I’ve already explained multiple times, but it’s obviously apparent in all of Texas.
By the way, TEXAS AT 5th in the preseason??! Everybody on God’s green earth knows they are not close to that level.
NIL will stabilize and so will anything that is introduced to the sport of college football. Sure stadiums will continue to grow and will eventually be like enormous stadiums you see in futuristic movies, but it’s still a sport based around passion for your own school. Let’s just be thankful that we DON’T have to see what this sport is like in 100 years.

if any. With ticket prices continuing to rise, more and more games on TV, and people being more deliberate about how they spend their free time, I think we will see stadiums stay a similar size. Some will probably decrease capacity to create more club level/premium options.

What we learned the last two years is that paid trips to the strip club will yield the best recruits.

"college" football within 5 years. There will be no connection to the Universities other than that's where the paid players happen to live and play the professional sport.
