Yep...that came out a couple of years ago.....

$$$ isnt an issue at CLEM, although some want you to think it is.

Its how much & when we are going to spend. We certainly wont overpay like some are doing....but will pay well once you are in the system doing well....

I doubt Clemson has the funds to pay existing and transfer portal players. The market is overheated, so NIL deals are substantially more than the $37k Clemson average. Elite players are not coming here for $37k. Elite players are costly. I thought WR-A.Brown mentioned crazy money out there. If Clemson does not win, transfers will increase significantly. NFL money is not given, but why not get some money in college? Luke and Rumpf get $1M, Dabo $10M? Riley $1 or $2M? It's now the NFL's paid minor league system.

Yes $$$ is an issue. It’s an issue at Alabama. When you don’t have a major market base nearby, you’re depending on private donors and crowd funding. Those resources are not nearly dependable or renewable as business concerns that can make it part of their annual advertising budget

Yes. The article is from 2022 . I believe that Day and Saban are the only two coaches that have spoken about NIL dollars related to their team. Saban, in 2022, stated that his team made 5 million the year before. If my years are correct, the Bama 5 million would have been the first NIL year.

It's just not OSU - it's hitting all of the major powers. Day was just being honest and you wonder how many more of these top CF coaches will follow Saban's lead.
