A top candidate at Canisus HCing job.

Would be a big loss because since he came onboard two years ago, big difference in the team dynamic.

I hope would be more selective in jobs he is interested in because remember he was a successful HC at Kansas City ay Missouri coming off a 20 win season when he decided to join Coach Brownell as the associate HC. Link:

I wonder what Canisius pays their head coach?

And does he want to be a head coach again?

We need to keep him here if at all possible.

Good point Judge.

They need to pay him +$600k a year to not leave unless one of the top mid major jobs is open. Anything less than that amount and most lower mid major jobs can't match it.

If he choose to leave, I hope we use the Luke & Riley roadmap to go out and find a top shelf replacement. Specifically with Matt Luke, we have seen the importance of hiring experience assistants who have a history of success.

True but the principle is the same. If we want a top tier program, we must be willing to pay for top tier assistants. Some may not work out but we know what happens when we make budget hires.
