He also said that a coach does not need to be at one place more than 10 years- he is in year 9 at USuC.

Yeah, but he finally found a place that the expectaions are LOW but the salary is still HIGH. He can play Augusta and do enough to keep the natives happy. The occasional snarky remark about UGA or us is just icing on the cake for those inbreds. That 10 might just grow. I sure hope not.

I'd rather see him keep coaching until he is completely bald, babbling, and drool hanging from his chin. 4 more years in Columbia should do the trick.

I said when Spurrier was hired that his tenure would be 8-9 years. I think it's probably more like 10 or 11 now, but it's hard to say. I think he's so close to going out on top that he'll make a run at it for a few more seasons; but as soon as Florida, UGA, and hopefully Tennessee start kicking his butt on a regular basis, he'll get tired of it and go out to pasture.

That being said I sure hope my prediction comes true anyway.
