Clemson-South Carolina game location set

The middle game of the Clemson-South Carolina series will be at Segra Park in Columbia on March 2, the Columbia Fireflies announced on Tuesday. The first game (Fri., March 1) will be played at Founders Park in Columbia and the finale is in Clemson (Sun., March 3).

Agreed. South Carolina should not get 2 of 3 home games. Have the middle game at either Greenville, Charlotte, Charleston, or Myrtle Beach... I don't care which. They all have nice baseball facilities.

Never should have moved it. How in the hell did Clemson let SC have basically two home games is beyond me. Gamecock fans claim that Greenville is essentially a home game for Clemson. That’s BS. Greenville is littered with coots and is 45 minutes away from Clemson. The firefly’s is in their back yard and Columbia is like 90% gamecock's. Probably more.
Should have done North Augusta. That’s a 45 min ride for SC and has a fair amount of Clemson fans even though it’s still heavy gamecock country. Heck anywhere but Columbia.

Why are we not playing 3 in Clemson and then 3 in Columbia. It's a great series and tbe state deserves it!

Segra Park is like 3 miles from the Coots home field. This is not "neutral" at all.

Well, let's see. Two games in cootville and one in Clemson. Why on earth would we agree to that ? Third game should be in Charleston for a real neutral site.

They should go back to three at Clemson and three in Columbia. It is the biggest series of the season for both teams and probably the biggest money makers. That would require common sense, which is not so common anymore.
