Clemson can win another national championship in less than 5 years

I know that this is a horrible season--we flat out suck. No way to spin it. We lack coaching experience, we lack depth on offense, and we have no development. In 2010, nobody thought we would be playing for a title in five years, yet there we were toe-to-toe with Bama with a chance to win. The next year, we won it. Then again two years later. Dabo was able to build the program to a title contender in five years after having really no great seasons in the span of 20 years before that. It will be much easier to right this ship with the winning history we have had since 2011. Dabo just has to make the changes that are crucial to right the ship--beginning with position coaches who actually know how to develop players.

Will he?

That’s what he is paid to do. I would love to see Scott come back and coach our WR’s. Maybe he will and be completely happy doing that.

I thought Chad Morris was brought back to analyze video. Is that even happening at all?

I don’t believe Dabo can bring us back. Not in this new era of college football. I admire him for sticking to his principles and trying to win like he always has. But that model won’t work anymore.

The landscape has changed. Dabo won’t change. We have been going backwards for 3 years.
