I think this is the fourth consecutive year the Tigers have
finished in fifth or sixth place. Maybe the "we will be better next year" will finally come true next year. I will
be there watching just as I have been since 1969, my
Freshman Year.

I mean there always is next year. But this team is very young with a lot of young talent coming in in the next recruiting class. I'm not hanging my head about this season.

It's just stating the obvious which is almost as bad. There was a time not to long ago when the fans of other programs were happy just to defeat Clemson just once in baseball. That's The Point.
However, this past season should have proven to all that the root problem was Jack's awful personnel decisions regarding the coaching staff. That happens to everyone and is explainable. What is INEXCUSABLE was Jack unwillingness to fire Tom Reginos as the program was driven into the ground.
The hiring of Bradley Lecroy by Jack will turn out to be one of his best decisions and I expect further improvement in the program next year.
Just because you've been willing to accept mediocrity in the Clemson baseball program doesn't provide you with any credibility in attempting to mock those who have a different opinion than you.

so going to regionals and super regionals and omaha is running the program into the ground huh. who knew. and yes i am extremely happy to have lecroy on the staff now. maybe we had gotten a little stale but to say the program was run into the ground is yes pure idiocy.

We had two this year .... very early against Winthrop and the ### game against Georgia.
Those were our ONLY losses vs. teams below 100 in the RPI. Of the remaining 14 losses, 13 were vs. Top 50 foes, and more than half of those were on the road. Were the series against FSU, UVa and UNC not all on the road, there could easily have been another couple of wins.
Essentially, I saw a much better team this year with much younger players. Hate the coach all you want, but there's no way for anyone to spin that as anything but solid coaching.
