Chansi did amazing job at Baylor and is doing a great job with the young WRs at ND. It is time for home to come home if Jeff Scott won’t come back.

I see no problem hiring a proven coach even if they are

A former player and/or friend. The issue is hiring former players, friend and family who have yet to ever coach at the college D1 or NFL level and then letting them learn on the job. Heck if he coached college at a lower level even and had a track record, that would be fine too. But pure, virginal coach hiring has to stop. They need a proven track record.

If Jeff Scott won't come back, it's worth a shot since he's had P5 experience and success. But again, Jeff Scott is the top choice since we know he's one of the best recruiters out there, and can coach top WR's.
