If it’s true I thought that stuff was illegal.

Apparently. The players kicked him off the team. I guess they weren't into some dude selling crank pics without their knowing.

He was only in the portal for like 2 weeks and the signed up to play at Ole mi$$. You'd think if it was true the wouldn't want to expose their locker room to that guy.

It's always interesting to think about the situation when a person is kicked off a team. What should be the punishment? Should he be banned for life from CFB? Perhaps sit a year? He certainly made a bad choice and removing him from the team, especially with the support of his teammates, seems like the correct move. But after being removed should there be additional consequences?

IMO - putting stuff out there like that on social media

or on a message board is irresponsible BS. Speaking in general- We’ve tried to.teach our kids for years on social media not to participate in potentially damaging rhetoric about people that are rumors they’ve “heard” and don’t have direct knowledge. Even if it’s direct knowledge understand the responsibility associated with that and you can’t take that back on social media. The social media ramifications can sometimes far outweigh the act. something happened and you think you were wronged then either handle it yourself and shut up or if you think you need the law involved then contact them and go that route even if it’s as a John Doe but leaking #### out to social media or conversing on message boards on such matters amounts to gossip IMO and can cause a lot of damage and potentially false accusations that can’t be reeled in once they are out there. If you notice, no journalist has touched this rumor and I have no knowledge on the matter you mention.

Consent Is Everything! Especially if you are making $$$$ of

You do not do certain things in the name of making money. And, using someones N.I.L w/o their permission is one of them(sound familiar). But, especially private pictures that need to remain locker room/bathroom things. You just don't do that.
Say, some of the team wanted to pose for a cut of some of the only fans money, then fine. Still within reason in terms of how wardrobe and the like. But, if they talked about it beforehand and it was agreed upon; no problem. But, to do so without permission, violates trust! And, on any team you must establish trust and people have to know you have their best interest at heart - not your own selfish interest only.

Without knowing if this is a criminal situation in SC, this is definitely a civil suit. You have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a locker room. Sometimes the only lesson that you can teach an idiot is to smack him with a judgment. Tap into some of his SEC NIL $. Personal decision for the victims, but I would be pi$$ed with that breach of trust.

Regardless of state, I don't see how this isn't against the law. Not sure it is so different from the Erin Andrews lawsuit which saw a the guy sentenced to 2 plus years in jail.
