would be because of several compelling reasons:

1. He is more closely aligned with their political beliefs than the opposition (e.g., abortion stance, government programs, etc.)
2. He got us through COVID and has overseen improved economic metrics.
3. He generally acts respectfully and professionally, consistent with the office of the U.S. President.
4. He represents a vote against Trump.

I don't like Biden, I'm not voting for him, but I can certainly understand why he would be a more attractive candidate than Trump, especially for voters on the left.

1. Did he legalize abortion?

2. He got us through COVID and has overseen improved economic metrics. More deaths than Trump, highest inflation of my lifetime.

3. He generally acts respectfully and professionally, consistent with the office of the U.S. President. "Dog face pony soldier"

4. He represents a vote against Trump. People voted for Biden's policies over Trump's cause he's "not Trump"; yet most have no idea what either has signed into law.
