I saw where Monday nights game is going to be televised on ESPNU. It will be a prime time game and hopefully the Tigers play well. Televised games like this are very important to recruiting, sometimes even for years to come. A good baseball crowd, the Cajun Cafe, the Cheap Seats...all the things that Clemson is known for will be on display.
Since the students are gone, is there any method or way that the people who are boycotting could make their tickets available to others? I fully understand that it would 'help the program' and in some way show support for Jack and the team, but it is not something that they would be doing directly. The boycotters could still say that they 'stood their ground' and did not attend. It would just be something temporary and they would not be 'directly' showing support.
I know most people have their tickets in hand, but I was just curious if they called the ticket office and said that they would not be attending, would the seats be made available on a first come first served type basis? They could have the seat numbers on a master list and then just have the fans sign by the seat or seats that they would occupy. Or if the boycotters would just give the tickets to someone they know that would want to attend?
Just a thought, but I am sure it would turn into a logistal nightmare.
Saturday's 1:00 pm game will also be on TV as the ACC game of the week on Fox Sports South(I think that's the network). Wes Durham is doing the play by play call.
