If you are going to boo the team, please stay home. Clemson’s players are not quitting. Yesterday, the team fought until the end. We had boo birds during the Hatfield years and it was not a good thing to sit through. Please don’t be that kind of fan.

If you give thousands of $$$ to IPTAY, pay thousands of $$$ to buy tickets, and pay thousands of $$$ to travel...are you not allowed to express an opinion?
I may or may not have "Boo-ed" Hatfield a time or two because he was a hired gun brought in to destroy the dynasty Clemson was building. He seemed to enjoy it too much. And I even had a couple of personal run-ins with the guy that only cemented my opinion.
In no way is Dabo like Hatfield. But if you can't see the Hatfield "Error" for what it was...after all these years...will you ever?
These players are GETTING PAID to play. They've relinquished that circle of protection that came with playing for Clemson because you love Clemson. See how many still love Clemson when this season is over.

i generally agree with your statement, but the game itself will reveal if booing is justified, if it's 38-10 in the 3rd quarter and we start a drive by running it up he middle 2 times for 1 yard then it is warranted.

Agree. I might not like what I see, but not booing.

Then don't go. People pay for their tickets and can boo if they want.

But y’all are only playing Jacksonville State. You expecting to lose that one too and drop to 2-7??

But they found a way to score 10 points and had a (albeit slim) chance to tie it in regulation.

I saw no evidence of “fight until the end” with this team yesterday, with the exception of maybe some defense.

Many probably make more than a lot of the fans in attendance. Not the case in the Hatfield days.
Not saying that necessarily allows for booing but just pointing out that these guys aren’t amateurs anymore.

Wrong take! That comes from the Era of when we still said they are still kids. 18-21 year olds.... blah blah blah! When these players cried and whined to get paid, they lose the sympathy piece of just being a kid. Dabo himself said that once they get paid it all changes! Talk about the understatement of his career! The team and coaches at this point deserve whatever they get. If they don't like the booing, then win!!! If offends Dabo then coach better! If it offends you, then you probably should stay home, because, if tbey play this bad on Saturday it's gonna happen!!

They probably deserve pity more than booing. Does bring up an interesting argument about booing kids (which I was always raised not to do, only refs) but now that they’re semi-pro………?Conundrum for some but I still won’t boo Clemson players. I do feel sorry that they’re terrible at football though.

Fully agree w OP.
Booing in college athletics reminds me of school in the summertime ……. no class.
