Best place to park coming from Atlanta?

I'll be driving up to the game from Atlanta, arriving in Clemson about two hours before kickoff. Any suggestions on where to park around that time coming from this direction?

I have heard about parking at the Y-Beach before. Is that free? Seems like in the past I just parked in the grass off of side roads but that may not be the best approach.

When are you leaving Atlanta? I'm heading that way as well and with it being Military Appreciation and Senior Day want to make sure that I get there in plenty of time before kickoff. Go Tigers

Take Hwy 59 off I-85....work your way to 123 (see map for specific turns). Take right...don't turn towards the stadium...cross the Seneca River and continue past Western Sizzler. Go about 1/2 mile and park in shopping center lot on your left (adjacent to bank building and Chinese restaurant).

Walk from there through the park directly across the street...and then to Main Street. It is probably a 25 minute walk to the stadium.

Going home...take a right out of the parking lot and you have clear sailing back to Atlanta.

Follow UQtiger's diections to Clemson but turn right on HWY 93 before you cross over lake. Go about 1/2 mile and park at Y-Beach. $20 plus they have shuttle busses to corner by Littlejohn.
