Been a Clemson fan all my life...
Sep 21, 2014, 12:49 AM

graduated with a Clemson degree.
All I want is to hear the coaches take responsibility for this. Yes Lakip missed a field goal, yes there was a fumble, but for once take pressure off the players. Running shotgun twice with inches to go is ridiculous? Not reviewing a TD?
We are a laughing stock of CFB. How to we find ways to ###### defeat out of the jaws of victory?
We are reduced to a season against USC. No way FSU loses 2 ACC games.

Don't forget the two FG's, the missed TD to a wide open Leggett, OL allowing penetration on the 4th and 1 in OT, the snap over the head at the goal line. All bad coaching decisions. Don't forget the bad coaching decisions dialing up the corner blitz for a big sack, dropping 8 resulting in a interception late in the fourth. The wheel routes to Choice to put us in position to score the go ahead TD.

We are the laughing stock.......???? Get a grip with the OVER-STATEMENT OF THE CENTURY! We just DOMINATED the #1 team most of the night on their field, giving them their closest game in 2+ years (including last year against Auburn). After tonight and being double-digit underdogs, most who watched the game saw our domination. And, yes, at the end of the day, winning is what matters at this level, but laughing stock? No. We probably just gained the most respect any team could in a loss. I wouldn't give up ANY of our guys or coaches for anyone else's. We do it the right way......On and Off the field.

We dominated the #1 team in the country? Last time I checked we left with a loss. No offense but listen to any sports report the next couple of days and tell me about the respect we gained.
I am extremely excited about DW but ......
When will we ever hold coaches responsible? We should have won that game by 10, even with player mistakes.

So do you wanna hold the coaches responsible for the Orange

Bowl win? Do you wanna hold Dabo responsible for having 3 straight 10+ win seasons? Do you wanna hold Dabo responsible for having the most wins by a non-$EC coach against $EC teams since 2008?

Yes Dabo has done great things, which I have always given him credit for, but you are blind if you think tonight play calling was ideal.
We had a chance to secure the ACC atlantic tonight and we decided to spot FSU 5 yards multiple times

I feel bad for you. I've been a Tiger fan for 20+years and I have never had the feeling I had tonight with Deshaun under center. We are in good hands.

I doubt their's a team in the land that isn't glad we are not on their schedule, including a rematch with FSU.

Vandy had 2 kick returns for TD's. We have our own problems, and a daunting schedule ahead.
Clemson should have won tonight. No other team on FSU's schedule is gonna challenge them. And the one team that coulda beat them was playing against the backup QB. Don't understand the 4th down run call in OT.
Starting out 1-2 is tough, but you should still be favorites in most if not all the remaining games. At least you found your QB tonight...

No I'm not happy. But you are very absurd. The coaching staff we have now is responsible for us becoming relevant for the first time since the early 90's, before Hatfield drained the team of talent. What you didn't enjoy the wins over LSU, Auburn, OSU, UGA, over the last few years? Did you enjoy our first Orange Bowl win in 32 years? Did you enjoy our first ACC championship in 21 years?

I just get frustrated because I know we have the talent to beat teams like UGA wk 1 and FSU tonight.
Please explain why we would run shotgun after a 25 yrs loss when all we need is ________ <--- that much

then you truly aren't a Clemson fan. We have always been the small town underdog team that gets credit from no one. I could careless what fans of teams we have beaten recently think of us.

So you are happy always being the underdog? I'll admit I wasn't around in 1981, but would love to have that feeling of not worrying during every big game.
I grew up in SC so my big games include USC....which no matter what Dabo has achieved, he hasn't put that away.
