IMHO since being there once helps with the eye-opening experience, hype, tension, etc.

If we don't do it this year maybe 2016 will "still" be our year.

Wow

. Some of the guys will handle it better I guess, but there's a lot of guys playing on that team that didn't play last yr. It's not like they have any experience getting to the 2nd game either.

I think it's more of an adjustment for the coaching staffs. You have a lot of prep time for the 1st game and the 2nd game is even bigger, but not as much time to prep for it. Human nature would make you want to look ahead a tad bit to who you think is most likely to win because of all the extra prep time and throw some stuff in for your guys to digest early. IMO that would be a mistake. To me, you still have to "one game at a time" it and focus on the 1st game. Still have a week and a half to prep if you win. Looking ahead gets you beat and you can overload your players with info that they can possibly get mixed up on out on the field.
