At UVA

Do we get it done on the road? I watched them play FSU. Brogdon and Gill are great but I feel we have an advantage down low and Blossomgame and Grantham are just as good of a due if DG is on. I think we have the better point and Roper is as good as any shooting the ball. Should be a good defensive game but I believe we can and will take the W. They need a W bad and we need to keep it rolling! Go Tigers!! Gonna be a good one!!

The odds are against us but nobody thought they would beat Duke either.
I think it will be a close game that comes down to who stays out of foul trouble.

Why are odds against us? We are 5-1 in the ACC and they are 2-3 lol. I know it's hard to win on the road against any conference opponent.

They are 2-0 at home and we are 1-1 with an OT win on the road.

They are currently a 10 pt favorite. We are playing well enough to have a shot but it would definitely be an upset. Even the years we went 10-6ish in the ACC we usually won about 3 road games. It's definitely tough to win on the road in the ACC and UVA is still one of the tougher teams despite not being quite what they were the last 2 years.

I know the spread guys I bet everyday on college basketball. So you guys thought OU would beat us in football? I say a 5-1 team vs a 2-3 team the odds are in our favor.

I know we are expected to lose I'm just messing around with you guys. I do not think we should be a double digit dog tho. I know they have great wins outside of the conference but look who they have lost to in conference. We are better then all 3 of those teams. It is at home for them tho but I think 10 points is a ton. We could lose by 20 tho or win by 10 you never know with college basketball.

Yes the line moves based on public perception but that stuff is largely based on data - its not like a random dice roll. Vegas has computer models that said UVA should be a 11.5 pt favorite. A small amt of that might be related to bias, but I think there's much less of that on college basketball than college football where large homer fanbases will bet on their team.

Anyway, I'm not saying we won't win because we certainly can.

I think UVa wins in Charlottesville but pretty good chance Clemson wins in March in Greenville.
