That we haven't seen Cornell Powell on any kickoff returns. This guy was praised as a kickoff return guy and with the returns looking not so spectacular I figured we would have seen him by now. Of course I'm not payed millions to coach so I can't criticize to much.

I would bet there is a reason. Maybe he is seen as needing a Red Shirt year, or maybe he hasn't shown in practice that he is better than the ones back there, but I would bet there is a good reason. I agree that he is talented, but we have a team full of gifted athletes now, and not all can play at the same time. If Powell truly is better, I hope somebody sees it and gets him on the field.

He's been playing at wide receiver. Has receptions in every game but Auburn and Louisville.

He's definitely not being redshirted because of play at WR but I'm sure there is a good reason. Just looking to see if anyone had any insight as to why just in case I missed something

I'm going to go out on a limb and say ball security. Not a knock on him, but ball security Is something our coaches preached over dynamic play potential for years. It's just in this season that we don't fair catch every punt. Maybe later this season, or likely next year after a lot of reps, he gets more touches. An incomplete pass sucks, but not nearly as bad as a fumble near the goal line on kickoff.

I actually want to see Feaster back on KOR's again. I know he was tentative so far, and seemed to run right into the pack instead of hitting a hole, but the kid has major talent and speed. If he hits the hole, then it's 6. He just needs reps.
It's also been obvious that he is extremely protective of the ball, but that might have made him think too much instead of hitting the gaps. He will get there, and maybe it will be this year. I hope to see him back there this week personally.
