If the CFP Committee was unbiased

The top six tonight would be:
1. Clemson 2. LSU 3. Ohio State 4. Minnesota 5. Baylor 6. Alabama
I put us at #1 because we are the reigning national champions and are 25-0 hr last twenty-five games. That should count for something when compared to the other undefeated schools.
Since the committee is biased, I expect we will see:
1. LSU 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Alabama 5, Georgia 6. Minnesota

This would be my order (REVISED Forgot about Baylor)

Still don't think UGA is top 6 (weak offense but great defense) and LSU would be higher than us due to who they've beat. OSU's sked isn't any more impressive than ours but they sure enjoy running up the score!
1. LSU 2. Clemson 3. Ohio State 4. Minnesota 5. Baylor 6. Alabama

there is an irony that UGa could miss out because of Ohio St being led by a guy they couldnt find pt for and now their O is struggling.

What you will see will be UGA at # 4 and Bama at # 5 because Georgia is leading the East and Bama needs help to get back in the top 4. Baylor and Minnesota maybe top 10, but Oklahoma will probably be in the 6th spot.

You expect Oklahoma to jump Oregon and Utah after last weekend?
That would surprise me but I guess it could happen.

Minn is good but they barely won a bunch of their early games and it is holding them back. we will see if they can keep it going the remaining games

Their struggles were out of conference, San Diego St, Fresno St, and Georgia Southern. They have handled their B1G games rather easily. Maybe that should tell us something.

I'm not a Gawga fan but be realistic..we lost to the cuse and Pitt in diff years but we still were in the top 4. The dogs have beat t2 teams in the top 15 and but they will lose to LSU and maybe Awbern before that. They may get in the top 4 before that happens, who cares?

I'm not sure there is an unbiased ranking that has us in front of LSU.
We are 10-0 and not 25-0 this season in an unbiased ranking.
I could hear an argument for putting us in front of OSU, but my rankings would likely still have them in front of us at the moment.

Disagree with Minnesota, they have had a very special year but the question remains most deserving? Best Team? Minnesota would be 20+ point underdogs to everyone in the top six outside of Oregon. Honestly this year is weird b/c there really aren't 4 teams that are top 4. LSU, OSU, and Clemson I think have separated themselves. But if we take off our Orange and Conference glasses, would Minnesota or Oregon really compete with Alabama? If they really want 2 SEC teams in put them against each other in the first round b/c I am not convinced LSU could beat Bama again. And I am not sure it would even be close the second time around.

LSU has done too much this year not to be #1 in my opinion,

but the most important thing, Minnesota at #4 is exactly right.
But the cool thing about this is that the situation we are looking at today, will likely be different every single week.

I think Baylor needs to be higher but that will work itself out if they beat Oklahoma this weekend. This could be the year that the CFP works out with 4 undefeated P5 conference champs. Baylor has to be the biggest question mark but who knows with Oklahoma after the last couple weeks.

The rankings are for this season only. How is there not any bias involved in ranking us #1 based on what happened last season? What LSU has done this season has earned them the #1 spot. You could argue(and I'd agree with you) that Clemson would be unbeaten with LSU's schedule as well, but unfortunately we haven't had the chance to play those teams.

Baltimore Tiger’s ratings are extremely biased. And, we are not 25-0 this year. Please quit using this argument.

In the "old days" of the Polls, your Top 5 would be right,

with possible reversal of Baylor and Minnesota. An unbeaten, reigning, defending National Championship team would be a no doubt #1, followed by the other unbeatens in a "relative strength" order. The fact that this Committee chose to totally disrespect our accomplishments, even though we returned basically every skill position player from that team other than #13, is shameful. And, the very first time that two of the four teams they had picked ahead of us played after that ranking, they got beat. The cream will always rise to the top.
