Would that get us 3rd place in the ACC tournament if we beat Notre Dame? We have the tiebreaker vs. Pitt but not Miami. Is that right?

I think a Duke loss will be important this weekend. Difficult for me to be a Heel fan even for a day but I guess I’m forced to say Go Heels! Gosh, that Hurts!!!

Tigers should be in top form today when the Irish come to town. A loss today would be catastrophic

The most important game is us vs. notre dame.

If we win tonight we are guaranteed a 4 seed. If we win, and Miami wins, we area 3 seed

If we lose and Duke wins, we are a 5 seed

Nope! Duke needs to win….

We can take care of our own business with clinching the double bye.
But any loss for UNC is good as they are a bubble team like we are. That is more critical than us ‘backing in’ to 4 spot with a loss but losing ground in the NCAA bubble

Good question. Unbalanced schedules make these scenarios difficult to wade through.

I don’t think it matters. Personally, I’m pulling for UNC to beat Duke

That gives a shot at playing NCST instead of Duke in our first game

I’m not even considering another outcome except a demolition of ND tonight at home on Senior Night

Go Tigers

If we lose then we need Duke to lose as well if we want to hold on to #4 and the double-bye which would be critical because at that point, winning the ACC would be our last shot at the NCAAT and it would be easier to win from the #4 position than from #5.

UNC is also a bubble team though….
