b/4 Buckeyes were going to do a Swinney-like Fake FG Attempt Run..but Dawgs booth staff smelled it out and smartly called down to Coach Smart to halt it in its track by calling a time-out, and thus Buckeyes reconsidered & kicked FG instead.

And, With this decisive time-out and re-thinking its defensive scheme maybe Ga helped itself to their 2nd straight Natty Trip!

Watching The replay, the ball had snapped and play should not have been stopped . It was close and a great call by ks as they we’re fortunate the ref blew the whistle .

Questionable whether it was really in time

The play was pretty much run before the ref blew the whistle. So we're thinking it was the whistle for the end of the play, but it was for the timeout. It's almost like it was planned that way.

that play had started but blown dead which aided GA but hurt OHst.

Officiating Crew was from Big12, I believe.

Smart did Not recognize it. One of his Assistants did. Yelled something and then he called Timeout!
