Anyone remember the TCU QB a few years ago?

Dec 7, 2017, 1:59 PM

Boykin? About mid-season as I was watching KB play, I started to think they had a lot of similarities. Boykin was a run first guy who had been playing WR his first year, and came in to start their Bowl as if I recall, their Starter got in big trouble of some sort. Anyway, the kid was run first, shaky on some throws. His last year or so he was a monster for TCU however. Coincidentally, I watched him in Preseason for Seattle where he backs up Wilson, and I think he could be the next big Free agent QB. Kid looks REALLY good with top level coaching. My point is, Kelly has improved a whole lot over that run first guy he was 3 years ago. While I dont want to start worrying about next year, enjoying this one, I think the future holds a lot of promise for young Kelly B. Go Tigers!

If he can improve in the passing game during thr offseason

Which like u said has improved the last few weeks i too believe he could be a monster next season. Its not so much his arm, he throws a good deep ball (that last TD pass in the ACCCG was gorgeous) and he has good accuracy, he just needs to improve going through his reads, finding the open WR which he's missed on a lot this season & u can tell some of WRs are frustrated by it. But if u add an improved passing game plus what he can do in the running game, he definitely could win the heisman

If NFL is so high on Kelly, why will he not be drafted high

I have heard this comparison with some of my friends.

I think this is a cultural opinion, mostly because they look exactly alike in height and weight and even facial features.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.
