Have any of you been around the process of luring a kid to your school(recruiting visits and such)?
That administration, coaching staff, school, etc. make you feel like you are on top of the world. They make you feel like "the world is yours"! You hear a lot of nice things about you and you can do no wrong! A huge ego boost and mental turbo boost button.
I think a lot of these kids are searching for "that high again"!
Nothing like that 1st hit as they say on Drugs Inc. That 1st time in your life when the world felt at your fingertips and people told you that you could do no wrong: "is what I think some of these kids are chasing"!
*Money/NIL money. *Coaching Change *Playing Time *Bad relationship with position coach/teammate. *Homesick. *Don't feel safe on campus/Bad environment/Toxic environment.
Outside of those reasons. When a kid basically can't check any of those boxes they still want to leave. I truly think many of these kids are chasing that feeling of: "being wanted to the ump-teenth-degree" by being recruited over again basically!
