I already know the cost of food is high.
It is real interesting packing for a summer vacation and laying out thermal underwear, long pants, long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, and a NF jacket.
One tip I can already give you, DO NOT try the hákarl.

prices down for them. Seems to already be working from some articles I've read, which seems to have locals thinking that some price fixing conspiracy has been in place up til now. Might be interesting to see what folks there say.
It's odd, but I'm looking forward to visiting the Arctic during the winter. Definitely need to get some good gear!
