Watch a basketball game. We are a young team with growing pains. At times we will look great, and other times we will look bad. Any real basketball fan would see the future is very bright.
I'll break the news to the basketball haters, we wont make it to the final 4 this year.....
and ask USuC how they feel about basketball. You guys sure base our success on them in football.....

Yep the same ####### people that have been no where to be found the last month are coming out from under their bridges. The same ######### who still believe OP left the program in great shape. The same ######### who cant see that we have zero seniors and are having to recruit with one of the wrost facilities in the ACC or south east.

he's made on his own recruits after the shitstorm Purnell left it in.
The mere stat of our free throw shooting is very telling, is it not? Or are you going to keep on your broken record of stupidity because you somehow think Clemson is a basketball powerhouse and get land a better coach than Brownell.
And keep going with "Brownlee", I have some pull I might use.

We lost to Auburn. Maybe it's you that needs the reality check. The fact that now is the time you choose to post this thread is amusing at most. It's OK to vent WHEN YOU LOSE TO AUBURN!!!!

...and most of these idiots haven't tried to watch a game yet this year. We played like Freshmen...no excuse, no way we should have lost to Aubarn. Brownell needs to get a little more pissed at the awful calls. Charging call was the worst I've sen in a very long time!
That said these idiots have seen the BB team for the first time on TV, probably didn't even know our record until the pro-SEC commentators told them. That said, we got a long way to go and this loss does not help!

BB should have gotten a technical foul. I normally don't get this pissed about Dec bball, but I'm still in the doghouse after yelling at the refs non-stop for the last 5 mins of the game.

I hate the way he didn't react to the blatant one way bad calls coming down the stretch. For me, that is a major flaw and something that just pisses me off even more. God I miss the Rick Barnes days.

people expect you to get it turned around in a blink of an eye. With the conference schedule Clemson has, you can't afford to drop games like Auburn etc. Enough of those and your record looks lousy.
After four years people expect things to go better against competition like Auburn at home or away.
I think Coach Brownell is getting a lot of growth and development from the guys we have on the team. I'm still shocked that Coleman doesn't play more, but I don't get to see practice.
Clemson needs some energizing wins in conference play or people are going to continue to throw their hands up and question this program.
Just my thoughts.

Who watched us beat a couple of high school teams and declared this team would be +.500 in the ACC and in the NCAA tournament.
These people only look at the box score and don't actually watch the team play.
You cannot win consistently without perimeter shooting or a consistent game in the paint. We simply don't have either. We didn't have either when we were thumping the south-west-middle-insert-state-name-heres of the world. However against any team with any kind of athleticism we struggle to score 60.
Those of us who tried to temper expectations because we actually watch basketball and realized this team had a lot of holes are not the idiots here.
