Who was named California League Player of the Week for the week of July 9-15. During the week, he hit .565 (13/23) with a homer and 6 RBI. Yesterday, he went 3-4 and has raised his batting average to .312 on the season.

Would be nice, but Jason is having a tough go of it at Grand Junction. Maybe just a case of getting acclimated to pro ball. Had some nice numbers early but since they moved him to the bottom of the line-up his numbers haven't been as good. Hopefully things will get better if he gets a chance to play this fall in Arizona.
