Alright... Screw Bama, Let's start talking Auburn

Jan 14, 2016, 11:03 PM

Most of their fans are absolutely terrified of the first game. Hopefully I can get a pair of good seats and go see it (it's a shorter drive to Auburn than it is to Clemson).

Can't wait to watch the first win of next season!

I will be moving to Alabama after my service commitment is up. I already have Alabama fans telling I hope we beat the #### our of Auburn. I said we will do our best. They are not looking forward to that game for sure. lol.

Should be a blowout win but early games are more about which team is focused. That said, I'd expect a 10-14 point win.

That will be a hard game, but the timing is perfect.

It will make our team focus in offseason.

Our D will most likely be shaky early, but so should Auburn's O.

Our offense should be in full throttle mode.

I dont think our defense is going to as shaky as you think. Remember, they DO have to go against DW4 and crew every day. The front seven will still be salty. I simply dont see Auburn stopping DW4 and crew, and the defense will be young in the secondary. Getting Tank back is a serious plus. BV does have his work cut out for him in the spring and fall practices, but what better way to tone them up sending them up against the best offense in college football every day.

Replacing Alexander is the big challenge. The DEs leaving are stellar but we have talent behind them. Replacing the Safeties should not be a problem.

Should be a comfortable win. Front 7 will be rock solid and even with replacing several players in the secondary, Auburns passing game isn't exactly stellar.

I agree. If Kevin Steele was our DC I'd be really worried. Oh wait, he's Auburn's DC. Eye discipline, leverage, and athleticism are what it takes to play against Auburn's offense. Clemson will have the advantage over Auburn in athleticism up front when our D is on the field, and with BV coaching them all off season we should be just fine. That's not to say that Gus is a slouch, but with DW4 as QB, Clemson will be great.

Kinda like playing the option

Pressure or hit the QB every down. Don't give him an opportunity to run the designed route

Re:Let's start talking Auburn-they were asking to cancel

I certainly hope we dont stand for that. Then I hope we solidly kick their behinds when we get there
