and how weak the ACC was, in spite of the ACC going 9-3 against them in the regular season! Then, the ACC goes 3-0 against them in the tournament! Now, what we have left in the Elite Eight...

ACC...3 teams from 5 bids...60% of teams remaining
SEC...2 teams from 8 bids...25%
Big 10...2 teams from 6 bids...33%
Big East...1 team from 3 bids...33%
Big 12...Zero teams from 6 bids...0%

Yeah...I think we've heard enough about how strong the Big 12 is!

Maybe the talking heads were confusing strong and good when talking about the Big 12. Or the SEC. The SEC CERTAINLY smells.

mention for starting with 8 bids, and only three of them could even manage one win! I think all five of those losses were to lower seeded teams!

Great post … agree and thanks for the research. It all comes down to human bias. We all have our biases. What changes the narrative on ACC basketball, long considered the best in the country?

I don't even count UVA, since they didn't make the 64 teams "in" the tournament. They played for a right to be in the tournament and lost. So I'd use 3 of 4 ACC teams in the field of 64 are still alive, so 75%.

I was irritated having to listen to the propaganda since November.

It is equally irritating that NO ONE with a national profile has revisited the 5 months of lies that they crammed down our throats.

The 2 lessons to be gleaned are: 1) Liars lie. 2) Liars don’t admit that they lie.
