Coots on 107.5 in Cootlumbia are saying the All In Cookout was a recruiting violation. The pumper said he had secret inside info on the event. Lol!! The announcer acted like the caller may be on to something. Secret info! ####, its been posted on Tnet for months that it was gonna happen.

Ga and FL do something similar...

Give our coaches and compliance dept some credit. Are you that slow? or just a coot?
This is apparant jealousy that they are in the mighty SEC, beat us three in a row, and are winning more than ever and still can't out recruit us.
They know their pony ride is about to end and they have no more quarters.

Please don't tell me it's been going so badly for you on the field (and court) of play that you've started keeping score on stupid things said by fans on the radio.

I guess that proves that SCAR coaches do a better job at player development.

thats one of the reasons we have a relatively new staff, and half of usuc's coaches left before the ncaa put y'all on probation, again.i think that might also have something to do with this little streak.

I guess they caught our compliance office sleeping again. I just can't understand why we have such a stupid coaching staff.
If you listen to, log on to or frequent ANY gamecock site you are a sick person.

I haven't listened to that station since Jan. Tuned in to hear that pumper going off. I thought it was hilarious that the announcer didn't try to cool things down by giving the coaches the "benefit of the doubt".....he just thought someone should look into it.

The show is very comedic. The next caller thought their most pivotal game would be going into LSU ranked in the top 5.Lol!!!! Better hope they beat Vandy.

....there's a sub-rule under unofficial visits for football and basketball that allows such events. We found it last time. They can do the digging this time.
Or they can do what they usually do: snipe, gripe and cower in fear of the inevitable whipping that's coming in November.

maybe so ... but every facet of the proposed cookout was reviewed by the Clemson compliance folks and then reviewed by the ACC and NCAA prior to the event, Guess it is possible that all three organizations missed the same thing, not very likely but possible.

The main thing all Clemson fans need to keep in mind
Aug 4, 2012, 8:41 AM
|
|
when faced with spurious claims like these made by mental defects, is that Clemson has a very strict, no-nonsense, no-chances-taken Compliance Department that would NEVER EVER give its consent for an activity such as the "All-In Cookout" unless it had first been cleared by the NCAA. And any event such as this bar-b-q HAVE to be cleared by Compliance before they can be staged
Unlike the rubber stamp compliance department with the revolving director's door that usuck cites for rules compliance (and the reason they've been on NCAA probation TWICE for major violations in the last 5 or 6 years), the staff in Clemson's Compliance Dept actually take their jobs and mission seriously.
This isn't the SEC where much effort is spent figuring out ways AROUND the rules.
