Of course the moon landing was fake, we all know the moon is made of cheese. I have it on good authority that when Neil Armstrong looked around he saw an orange Tiger Paw flag. John Swofford and the NCAA demanded that this never be made public but now it is ... go Tigers

Several years ago, while waiting for my car to be serviced by the dealer in Hickory, I met a wonderful gentleman who was a retired scientist from NASA. He was the first scientist hired when NASA began. He had received his degrees from NC State and actually shared an office in the Pentagon with Warner Von Braun. He Was NOT a fan of this defector!
Dr Woods told me some unbelievable stories about his stay in the Pentagon. He actually wrote the program for the communications system for the Mars probe. He told me that when he completed the program he was certain it would work but wanted to test it first. He called the secret military base in the desert and ask for a Stealth Bomber to install the system in for testing. The commanding offer told him he would send one to Washington immediately. That really impressed me. I can’t imagine a guy having that kind of pull to get this done so quickly. The Stealth was brand new and very few people had ever seen one. The plane arrived in Washington at 3:00 the next morning. Dr Woods said he was awakened by the commander of the Washington base to get down there immediately. The President was there and told him to get the GD plane out of Washington before someone saw it! He didn’t get to test it!
I saw him again after this first meeting and he was a delightful man and extremely bright. But he would not talk about his work or the space program.
The moon landing is very difficult to accept but we will likely never know what goes on in outer space. Nothing is more intriguing than the Roswell incident to me. But, again, we likely will never learn the truth
In closing, I went to see Dr Woods a few summers ago. He had just passed away a few months earlier … in his nineties .

as a kid who loved science fiction. And the summer of 69 was crazy times... the moon landing, Vietnam, hurricane Camille, the Manson murders, the Chappaquiddick incident, Woodstock, etc. The 60s kinda went out with a big bang. I remember it all.....
