With 14 teams they should turn it into an all out ACC vs SEC rivalry weekend.

Could be an interesting game after Stoops has a few years there. Should be fun.

Louisville had always wanted it at the beginning of the season to help build interest for football in the state (really just for their fans who are notoroius for not showing up or showing up late for games).
UK was locked in with UT at the end of the season. I know Tom Jurich (UofL AD) is more upset than he lets on. He is a controlling guy and got pretty upset at UK when they decided to play the game 3rd week of the season instead of the first a few years back (in Lexington).
When will the ACC schedule come out?

That is a shock; Tennessee/Kentucky has always been a big rivalry game going back for decades. It was always the last game of the year between the Vols and Cats.

The more ACC teams that have to face an SEC team at the end of the year, the better. FSU, GT, CU, and UL, will stick together now on the number of ACC games each year. Personally I want to be able to play at least one quality out of conference opponent every year and South Caroline. However, I also would like to play my fellow ACC teams in the other conference more then once a decade.

Guess we'll drop GT as permanent Coastal foe

when L'ville joins the Atlantic Division. There will be 8 teams in the Atlantic, and we'll play all 7 plus one team from the Coastal.

Missed a little on the counting or forgot MD is leaving. 7 team conferences and we will still play 2 teams from the coastal. All it means is we will only play UNC, VT, and Miami once a decade.
