Clemson would lose our on all 3 Portal OL targets, Herron, Rutledge and Blaske, I'd have said No way.
I don't think we ever actually offered Blaske and technically never offered Rutledge but probably would have if he visited.

I'm told our interest in Blaske was minimal, but that Rutledge was really desired. Maybe if we get the Nichols kid, and flip Wade, along with getting Thurman hopefully, then that is not a bad class of OL coupled with the ones we already have coming in.

Why can't you portal people understand that just because they are in the portal doesn't mean they want to come to Clemson. Money more often than not is the reason they enter the portal to begin with.

willing to accept whatever NIL deals we can offer.
And in reality, the THIRD and most important thing, they have to not have made an illegal tampering deal for a new destination BEFORE they ever hit the Portal to begin with.

But none of the tampering deals were from Clemson and won't be as long as Dabo is in charge.

We are not aggressive, so portal success will be limited. We had Rutledge's coach as a referral. Very telling when Rutledge said he didn't think Clemson was involved in portal.
